We’re so excited to announce the 2025 Summer Reading program at Helvetia Public Library!
We’ve picked out three books that we hope will appeal to different readers. Those books are:
- “The Fault in Our Stars,” by John Green (for the end of June)
- “White Fang” and “The Call of The Wild,” both by Jack London (for the end of July)
- “The Phantom Tollbooth,” by Norton Jester (for the end of August)
Any reader that registers by 30 May will get a paperback copy of each of the books they plan to read to keep. We’ll host a discussion and a viewing of a movie of each book at the Library on the last Thursday of June, July, and August. There will be events on the Facebook page for each of those three days, too.
The only thing we want to make really clear about this plan is that just because you sign up for one or all three of the summer reading books doesn’t mean you can’t read other books all summer long, too.
